Mrs. Nafeesa Moloobhoy addressed an august audience consisting of retired Admirals, businessmen and members of the British Maritime Mission on the 2nd of December, 2013 at the Trident Hotel in Mumbai.
This initiative was taken by a consortium of UK companies comprising of manufactures, shipping lines, ship owners, the UK coast guard etc. in lieu of Prince Charles visiting India and expressing his interest in furthering business relationships with the Indian Marine segment.
The emphasis of this presentation was on the role and responsibility of the Distributor in connecting the OEM and the Customer and the difference a good/smart distributor can make on the top and bottom line revenue of a foreign company hoping to further expand business in India.
Mrs. Moloobhoy spoke about the "tricks of the trade" and what goes into bidding, preparing and eventually winning a tender in the Defense, Commercial and Shipping Companies.
